Departing Port Hardy, you will travel the awe-inspiring Inside Passage aboard BC Ferries. On this 15-hour journey you will travel past calm inlets, evergreen covered islands and near the majestic coastal mountains. As this is a long day, we have provided a private day cabin for you to rest if needed while on the ferry.

In Prince Rupert, you can add float plane tours, boat excursions, fishing charters, bear watching trips, whale watching tours or simply spend the day hiking and exploring this vibrant community.

Ride VIA Rail’s two day Skeena train across Northern British Columbia from Prince Rupert, on the wild west coast, to Jasper, in the Canadian Rockies. En route you will pass through small communities that are rich in native history and culture and view spectacular lakes and forests along the way. The route of the Skeena travels aboard the old Grand Trunk Pacific Railway tracks, a northern trans-continental railway route. Rugged nature defines this route and it is not uncommon to be able to see wildlife from the train. A highlight of this journey will be passing by Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3,954 metres (12,972 feet).

Discover Maligne Canyon where 10,000 years of erosion have created a 49-metre deep gorge. Enjoy a short walk to marvel at the Maligne River as it thunders through the canyon in a series of waterfalls. Set out in search of wildlife native to the area such as Bear, Elk, Coyote, Sheep, Wolves and learn about these creatures and the mountain eco-system that supports them.

Take a ride on the Jasper SkyTram; the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada. Experience the unprecedented views that surround you with six mountain ranges, glacial fed lakes, the Athabasca River and the scenic mountain town-site of Jasper.
